Shoreham Airport (also known as Shoreham Brighton City Airport) is owned by Albemarle Shoreham Airport Limited following the sale of the airport by Brighton & Hove City Council and Worthing Borough Council in July 2006.
Founded in 1910, it is the oldest licensed airfield in the UK. It is situated immediately to the south of the A27 road, between Brighton and Worthing. Ordnance Survey maps, however, often show the airport to be within the boundary of Lancing.
