City of Derry Airport is an airport in Derry, Northern Ireland. It is sited near Lough Foyle and the village of Eglinton, 8 miles Northeast of the Derry city centre.
Eglinton Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary License that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Derry City Council).
Passenger numbers in 2007 were almost 430,000, a 29% increase on the previous year. These figures are projected to rise to over half a million in 2008.
