Lasham Airfield/Airport is sited 6 miles southeast of Basingstoke near the village of Lasham, Hampshire (England).
Pilots looking to visit Lasham airfield need prior permission and a briefing on the airfield’s hazards. These hazards are as follows: a concentration of thermalling gliders (upto 100 gliders can be in the area at once), cables upto 3000ft above ground level and movements of jet airliners.
Visiting glider pilots should also be aware of these hazards - the airfield frequency to use is 131.025 MHz.
